This past summer we entered a radio contest and won a fully installed Amana Air Conditioner from the Hignell Companies. We never win anything so we were amazed when the DJ from KHSL called us! We have never had anything but a swamp cooler and a wall heater in our home... no central heat or air at all, so when the guys showed up from the Hignell Companies, they saw they had a bigger job on their hands than they thought. Not only did we need an A/C unit, we needed dict work, an upgraded electrical panel and to have our home fully made ready to handle air conditioning. I'm pretty sure that this wasn't supposed to be part of the giveaway, but the people at The Hignell Companies honored their word. They did it all... all the extra labor and costs to them were taken care of and they never charged us a dime. What should have been a one day jog turned into a multi-day job but they completed the work and really took care of us. They went so far above and beyond the call and made us feel valued as a customer, even though there was no money in it for them.
