The Courtyard at Little Chico Creek is recruiting for an Administrator. The Administrator is responsible for overseeing facility operations and ensuring that residents receive the highest level of quality care. Additional responsibilities include, oversight of the facilities finances, staffing practices and day-to-day operations.

Essential Functions:
-Manages the daily activities of employees; plans, organizes and directs staff to ensure that all areas and facilities are clean, safe and ready for use by residents
-Projects and develops a sound operating budget
-Standardizes operations of each department within the facility
-Develops an administrative plan and procedures to ensure clear definition of lines of responsibility, equitable workloads and adequate supervision.
-Administers the facility in accordance with licensing regulations and established policy, program and budget.
-Develops sound policies and procedures for resident care.
-Provides and ensures the provision of services to residents with appropriate regard for the residents' physical and mental well being and needs, including those services identified in the residents' pre-administration appraisal; makes special provisions for the safety and guidance of residents with visual or auditory deficiencies and make provisions for the resident with unmet needs to
-Develops and carry out a successful marketing program which maintains >95% occupancy.
-Reviews and approves all admissions.
-Supervises all department supervisors to ensure facility is operating according to set standards and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
-Coordinates staff training and in-service schedules.
-Complies with all applicable state, federal, and local laws related to the responsibilities of the position.
-Regular attendance.
-Travel as required.

Mental and Physical Demands:

Supervisory Responsibilities:
-The Administrator supervises all departments within the facility as well as the employees within those departments.

Skills and Qualifications:
-Fifteen (15) or more college or continuing education units in the field; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
-One (1) or more years of experience providing residential care to the elderly; or equivalent education and experience as approved by the licensing agency.
-Demonstrated knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
-Demonstrated knowledge of, and commitment to follow, all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
-Previous experience managing employees through motivation, coaching and development.
-Demonstrated sound organizational, coordinating, and personal interface skills.
-Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-80-hour Administrator Certificate.
-Current First Aid Certification.
-At least 21 years of age.

The Hignell Companies is seeking to hire a full-time Receptionist for our Redding office to assist with greeting customers and managing our multi-line phone system.

Job Summary:
Answer multi-lined Shoretel Telephone, greet and route walk-in guests, sort mail, and perform light clerical duties to support the daily business activities of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Answer incoming calls, route calls to appropriate department or personnel or take accurate phone messages as needed.
-Greet walk-in guests, determine nature of visit and notify appropriate department or person.
-Perform light clerical support duties such as typing, alphabetizing of material to be filed, envelope stuffing, photocopying, etc. as requested by other departments.
-Processes the daily mail, both incoming and outgoing.
-Distribute employment applications to all applicants.
-Maintain sufficient supply of rental packets and distribute to prospective tenants.
-Maintain physical appearance of both reception and central copier areas. Daily ensure that both areas are neat and clean, brochures are well-stocked and copier/printers have adequate paper.

Job Standards/Requirements:
Education: High School graduate or equivalency
Experience: Minimum 6-12 months prior experience as a Receptionist having general clerical duties.
Skills: Ability to answer and accurately route a heavy volume of incoming calls by asking thorough questions to ascertain reason for the call. Ability to handle multi-tasks, and be flexible and cooperative. Type 45 wpm. Pleasant, positive and professional manner with callers and guests.
