The Hignell Companies is recruiting for a Network Administrator. This is a full-time, benefited position. The Network Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing compliant information management systems. The position will develop specific policies for information ownership, records retention, e-mail use, records disposition, destruction suspension, internet use, electronic records, and trustworthy systems. The position's responsibilities require independent analyses, communication, and problem solving.

Essential Functions:
• Takes responsibility for planning effective information storage, sharing, and publishing within the organization.
• Maintains and communicates the Company's information management strategy. Devises and implements document and record systems, including classification, retrieval, and retention processes.
• Maintains an inventory of information subject to data protection and other appropriate legislation.
• Demonstrates understanding of workflow to ensure continuous/seamless data transition.
• Monitors usage of data and technology.
• Responsible for security of data and hardware to ensure confidentiality and safe keeping of assets from internal or external attacks.
• Provides specialist advice on information management, including advice on and promotion of collaborative working and assessment and management of risk.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures and overall information management strategy.
• Establishes, maintains, and updates file category and indexing structures; develops and revises cross-reference indexes.
• Maintains/enhances information management systems.
• Oversees/coordinates storage, confidentiality, and retrieval.
• Provides training for staff and advises on appropriate procedures for information management.
• Supports creation of business documents based on business need, criteria, and management methods.
• Supports use of knowledge management tools, including new user set up and troubleshooting problems.
• Stewards information sharing and documentation across the organization.
• Analyzes information needs, propose solutions and follow through on measuring change using benchmarks .
• Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Works with procurement staff to purchase hardware, software, and computer related items
• Works with 3rd Party Technology Vendor for hardware and system purchases and Network related issues

IT Support:
• Performs 'help desk' duties by assisting personnel with computer software application questions (Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Access)
• Provides suggestions to enhance or streamline current work flow procedures
• Add/Remove users from network and corporate mail
• Add user specific software to individual computers as needed
• Diagnose and solve/repair computer errors/problems
• Dismantle/recycle old computers and retain parts that could be used on other computers
• Prepare used computers for new users by removing unneeded programs and profiles

Phones:
• Oversee and administer Shoretel phone system by adding new users and installing software on computers
• Activate/prepare cell phones for new employees and deactivate as needed
• Store and issue new cell phones and tablets as needed
• Troubleshoot phone related concerns, keep account information updated and purchase/upgrade cell phones as needed
• Assist employees with syncing smart-phones with corporate Outlook
• Audit and reconcile monthly cell phone bills

Other Functions:
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Understands and supports the Company's vision, mission, and business objectives.
• Identifies the relationship between organizational goals and operational tasks.

Mental and Physical Demands:
• Experiences frequent interruptions; required to meet inflexible deadlines; requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills; may occasionally deal with distraught or difficult individuals.
• Requires ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of information received.
• Required to sit for prolonged periods; exposed to visual display terminal for prolonged periods; dexterity and precision required in the operation of a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any direct supervisory duties except as may be assigned from time to time.

Core Competencies/Qualifications:
• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree preferred; however, minimum of three (3) or more years of demonstrated experience in Information Management or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively. Demonstrated skill in correct grammar, spelling, and English usage.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

The Hignell Companies is looking to add a Customer Service Representative and Showing Rep to our Redding Team. The Customer Service Representative is available to show and lease apartments, town homes, or condominiums to prospective residents and support the company's marketing plan.

Essential Functions:
-Responsible for insuring properties are ready for show with awareness of the curb appeal of properties
-Maintains work areas and office in clean and orderly manner
-Helps process tenant applications
-Collects rents, prepares 3 day notices to pay, conducts inspections, enforces policies, prepares deposits, conducts renting activities, schedules turnover work and directs other personnel as needed
-Prepares correspondence letters to tenants, owners, and investors
- Prepares daily/weekly/monthly report as required
-Works to obtain and maintain full occupancy
-Audits processes to ensure compliance with standardized procedures
-Prepares vacant rentals, including dusting, cleaning and vacuuming
-Maintains grounds in excellent condition, including all common areas, mailbox building, pool area and dumpster areas
-Serves as a liaison between the company and residents
-Negotiates resolutions between tenants, upholding the rules and regulations set forth in the rental agreements
-Conducts minor unit maintenance
-Complies with all applicable state, federal and local laws
-Regular attendance

The Courtyard at Little Chico Creek is recruiting for a Full-Time Dining Room Attendant/Prep Cook.

Position:
This person will have the responsibility for providing meal service for residents of the facility in accordance with regulatory guidelines and in a friendly and professional manner. The Courtyard is a pet-friendly environment.

Qualifications:
The equivalent to six months working in food services or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:
The dining room attendant is responsible for greeting residents in a friendly manner and directing them to seating for each meal, obtaining resident meal orders and provide orders to the Chef or Cook, assist residents in obtaining meals, serve resident meals and beverages in a pleasant manner, observe personal hygiene and food services sanitation practices, clear tables after meals and provide dining room and kitchen clean up, ensure that soaps, detergents, cleaning compounds or similar substances shall be stored in areas separate from food supplies, ensure that all kitchen areas shall be kept clean and ensure that all utensils used for eating and drinking and in preparation of food and drink, ensure that all dishes and utensil shall be cleaned and disinfected after each use, notify the Cook or Administrative staff of any concerns in regard to kitchen cleanliness, food contamination, or necessary equipment repairs, notify the Administrator, Nurse, or Food Services Manager of any irregular dining and/or personal habits exhibited by the residents and any other duties as assigned.
